Can My Company be Set up as a Non-Profit?
You could make the decision to set up your company as a non-profit, but why would you do that? I’ve always said the individuals in our Profession are “social workers who like money.” We do want to help people and make a difference but realize we need to also take care of ourselves and the people we love.
My advice would be to incorporate, become an extremely profitable business and then donate to the non-profit causes you support. The more you make, the more you can donate.
If done right, you can build a business that can provide you with the lifestyle you deserve to live, while allowing you to help others.
