When you think of any professions including Physicians, Accountants, Attorneys, Bankers, Financial Planners to name a few, you will always find people who have negative things to say. In fact, many of the current most successful careers and employers have the highest level of negativity in print.

When you are making a major decision, it is easy to surface both negative and positive facts. It’s important that you determine if this is the right business for you and try to take the emotion out of your decision.
Draw two letter- “T’s” on a page and write two options on the top of each T. One is to open your own Staffing and Recruiting Firm and the other is to not open your firm. Draw a Plus (+) on one side of the line and a Minus (-) on the other side. Then write down every pro and con you can think of, for making either decision.
When you write down facts, it takes the emotion out of your decision and forces you to focus on facts. There is no fact too big or too small to include in your list. When you have written down all the facts, either the pros or cons will greatly outnumber the other and your decision will be clear.
